Watching Star Wars Trilogy...........Why?

     Devils Lake, ND has turned out to be a wonderful experience on this our journey of 2015, so much to do and great friends to spend time with.......oh yes and Walleye fishing!  We arrived here on July 2nd which was 3 days early for our reservations at Woodland Resort, so we were able to snag an RV spot at Spirit Lake Casino until our spot opened at the resort.  Moved into the resort on Sunday and can't believe we'll be leaving on Thursday already.  Hey, guess we could hang around but still want to head West more and possibly venture into Canada somewhere along the line.  Host Friends Fran and Barb Johnson have made this stay such a pleasure you wouldn't believe it.  We were as if we were part of the family on their 4th of July gathering, and the BBQ and fish fry that followed were fantastic.
     Went Walleye fishing for the first time with Fran and we caught our limit of 10 nice Walleye, I must admit as a beginner I had that luck and caught a slight majority of them.  Fran was more like a paid guide, he supplied the boat, the fishing area's and the rigging that made it possible to have the catch we had.  Taking the girls out tomorrow and the boat limit will then be 20 and we hope to meet that challenge also!

     Learned a new card game the other night with Fran, Barb, Bev and a couple of their friends Al and Carol.  It was called 9 holes or Par 9 or something like that, like a golf game of cards, fun and would like to find a game like it of our own.

     Oh yes, Star Wars..........remember me saying we had no TV reception while spending the time in Superior due to tree interference and weather..........well this camp is also well protected with huge trees and I'm literally in between trees on all sides!  Needless to say we don't even have the one or two local channels this time, we've been without TV for all but 3 days out of the past two weeks and I must say are doing quite well without it.  Have no clue as to whats going on in the world around us so I just feel like one of the multitude that doesn't give a shit.  We have plenty of DVD's and for the past two nights it's been the Star Wars Trilogy!  Oh well maybe Dances with Wolves tomorrow night, I love it Bev thinks once is enough..........................
